Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

(John 6:35)

Have you ever missed a meal or two and have been really hungry? So much so that you would eat anything to satisfy your hunger?

If you are anything like me, I would be hungry again after a few hours of enjoying a good meal!

Do you find yourself getting spiritually hungry? Or feeling like there is something more to life than what you can see?

If you are experiencing this kind of hunger, your nourishment can only come from God alone. Jesus, who is the bread of life, wants us to feast on Him daily so that we can stay spiritually nourished. ‘Feasting’ on him means being nourished through reading the Bible and experiencing His presence through prayer.

When we feast on the bread of life, He flows into every area of our life, and we experience peace, joy, contentment, and love in our relationships. We can even expect to receive direction for our lives. We do not need to look to the world for these things to satisfy us. Jesus is the only one that can satisfy every need we may have.

Be encouraged as you feast upon His word daily, that your soul will be filled and that you will be spiritually full and satisfied.
