Here at Highway youth we have 2 age groups: Boost (grades 7-9) and Exit45 (grades 10-12) that meet together on a Friday night and for Connect Groups during the week.

NOTE: During Term 4 Grade 6 students are invited to join in the fun to get a taste for next year.

If you're not familiar with how we roll feel free to browse our VALUES and our DREAM. In short though, you can expect; 1) a relaxed, friendly and fun atmosphere, 2) a time of praise and worship led by a team of talented and passionate musicians and 3) age relevant, bible based teaching.

With the exception of some special events Friday nights flow like this…

Hang Time (Drop Off)

Whether they’re showing their skills on the skate ramps, battling on the ping-pong, pool or Wii or chillaxing in the café, this time is given for everyone to have an unwind at the end of the school week and to meet someone new. Hang time starts from 6:30pm.

Service

At 7pm the auditorium doors open and after some games/warm-ups to get the blood pumping our live band dials it up to loud for some passionate, youth-style praise and worship. Then we have announcements before age-relevant and bible-based teaching.

Pick Up

Our main program finishes at approx 8pm and then we finish the night off chilling in the café or on the skate ramps once more. The night itself finishes at 9pm when we start packing up, but as we’re wanting to give the youth opportunity to be a part of things we’ve set pickup to be from 9 to 9:30pm so that they can help out as well. We do ask though, that all students be picked up by 9:30pm at the latest.
